Luhta and the Finnish Figure Skating Association continue their long-standing partnership. Luhta will be providing the clothes for the organizing committee at the upcoming ISU World Figure Skating Championships, including the clothing of over 400 volunteers. The cooperation between Luhta and the Finnish Figure Skating Association has started already at the ISU European Figure Skating Championships back in 2009. Since then they have been the clothing suppliers of the Finnish national team athletes.
– Supporting figure skating is a natural fit for Luhta. We see our brand as reflecting the nature of figure skating as not only an aesthetic and athletic sport but also one which demands bravery and persistency to master. We are very happy to continue the cooperation, and the international visibility provided by the ISU World Figure Skating Championships is a very positive situation for us, says Luhta Brand Director Panu Suominen.
– Figure skating is seen as a visually appealing and elegant sport, and we wanted to represent this throughout the event. We are very happy to have Luhta partner with us. We wanted to lift the visual appearance of the whole World Championships event, and the effect of having Luhta provide our clothing cannot be underestimated, remarks Henri Nordenswan, General Secretary.
