Finnish Figure Skating Association, in co-operation with the ISU World Figure Skating Championships 2017, is organizing an International Seminar for Coaches - A Healthy Skater Will Succeed - on the 28th of March 2017 in Helsinki, Finland. As Keynote Speakers among others, Dr. Sanda Dubravcic-Simunjak (Research findings for figure skating injuries – ISU / Medical Commission, CRO), Signe Ronka (Sport Specific Off-Ice Training & Injury Prevention - Flexafit Figure Skater Bootcamp Inc. / Editor-in- Chief / Publisher Figure Skater Fitness Magazine, CAN), Veli Sipilä (How skaters’ immediate access to physical therapy can prevent long term dysfunctions - Orthosport Physical Therapy Center, Inc. USA) and Kiira Korpi (Skater’s perspective to the topic, FIN).
