The best figure skaters from around the world will arrive to Helsinki in March to compete for the World title and berths for the next Olympic Games in 2018. The Worlds event begins with a spectacular opening show on Wednesday and closes with the Exhibition of Champions on Sunday.
The Hartwall Arena will be playing center stage for the World Championships event. The Arena is well connected and easily accessible from anywhere. It has been eight years since the last time that the Arena hosted an ISU Championship event. In 2009 Helsinki was the host of the European Championships. The previous World Championships were hosted here in 1999.
Besides the competition there will be a lot to experience at Hartwall Arena: Finnish design, fashion, tasty cuisine and much more. We invite everyone to enjoy the unforgettable championships atmosphere and to join us in celebrating the centennial year of Finnish independence.
